Hands planing unfinished lumber on a workshop bench

Our Process

Craftsmanship

Every piece is made by hand in our Jennings, Florida workshop — built honestly, finished thoughtfully, and ready for years outdoors.

Built the Right Way

We focus on practical quality: responsible materials, hardware that holds up outside, and a finish that protects the wood without closing off options for the people who ultimately own the piece.

Stainless Hardware

Our furniture is joined with rust-resistant stainless steel screws, bolts, nuts, and other hardware — including chains on swings — chosen to stand up to outdoor exposure season after season.

Pressure-Treated Lumber

We build with pressure-treated wood, kiln-dried after treatment (KDAT), for lasting outdoor performance and a stable, paint-ready surface retailers and customers can count on.

Cabot Finish

Finished pieces receive a heavy coating of Cabot to protect the wood from the elements while leaving the surface ready to paint if the end customer wants their own color or look.

The Building Process

From lumber selection to the final protective coat, every step is handled in our workshop with outdoor use in mind.

Material Selection

We build with pressure-treated lumber, kiln-dried after treatment (KDAT). The treatment protects against rot and insects; kiln-drying after treatment stabilizes the wood, reduces moisture, and leaves a surface better suited to outdoor furniture and a paint-ready finish.

Cut & Shaping

Components are cut and shaped in the shop, then prepared for a clean, solid assembly.

Hardware & Assembly

Pieces are fastened with rust-resistant stainless screws, bolts, nuts, and other hardware — chains included where swings and moving parts are involved.

Cabot Finishing

A heavy Cabot coating is applied to protect the wood, with a surface left ready for paint should the end customer want to customize the final appearance.

The Result

When a piece leaves our workshop, it carries the care and skill of the hands that made it — built with hardware you can trust, pressure-treated KDAT lumber, and a finish that protects without locking anyone into a single look.

For retailers, that means furniture that arrives ready to display, ready to sell, and ready for the end customer to make their own.
